JUNE 2020 - BIENNIAL MEETING OF ROUND TABLE LODGES

12th - 14th June 2020

North Staffordshire Round Table Lodge No.8355 are delighted and honoured to be hosting this year's Round Table Lodges Biennial weekend in June 2020.

Following the strong traditions of this event and its legendary fellowship, we are delighted to confirm below the exciting weekend of activities and social events that the North Staffordshire Round Table Lodge No.8355 has put together.

Breaking News Update!
 

The Biennial Meeting 2022 is now full for the weekend packages. The good news is that places still remain for:

  • Friday 10th June - Lodge Meeting (with a Double Initiation) followed by Dinner

  • Friday 10th June - Ladies Dinner and speaker

  • Saturday 11th June - Gala Dinner

After the disruptions and suspensions over the past few years, North Staffordshire Round Table Lodge No.8355 are truly delighted and honoured to be hosting the 2022 Round Table Lodges Biennial weekend in June.

Following the strong traditions of this event and its legendary fellowship, we are delighted to confirm below the exciting weekend of activities and social events that the North Staffordshire Round Table Lodge No.8355 has put together. We are particularly pleased to be able to welcome you all to Crewe Hall, an iconic Grade1 Jacobean manor conveniently located for easy rail and motorway access. 

A warm welcome awaits you. Enjoy the ambiance of this wonderful venue in the sumptuous surroundings of the original Hall with our selected bedroom accommodation in the modern fully accessible extension to the hotel.

For those who will be attending the Lodge Meeting on Friday, we are also undertaking a Double Initiation to bring 2 new members into Freemasonry. A special occasion on any occasion, a Double ceremony will make it a very memorable evening indeed.

Weekend Itinerary

Friday 10th June

  • Arrival at the iconic Crewe Hall Hotel from 3pm onwards & settle in

  • A full Lodge meeting with a Double Initiation in one of the iconic historic rooms of the original Hall, followed by a sumptuous dinner

  • Historic Tour of the hotel, dinner & guest speaker for partners

  • All to join back after dinner(s) for drinks in our private bar

Saturday 11th June

  • After breakfast, a coach will take us on a visit to the world-famous Middleport Pottery in Stoke on Trent, as featured in Channel 4's "Great Pottery Throwdown 2020" series. We will take in their Heritage Trail followed by a visit to the Burleigh Factory Shop based on site

  • Return to Crewe Hall for one of their famous afternoon teas, sandwiches and tea.

  • Afternoon leisure time (a chance to take advantage of the many facilities at the hotel) or visit one of the many attractions in the area, which we will be pleased to help you with

  • Evening Black-Tie Gala Dinner in the historic part of the hotel with welcome drinks and musical entertainment

Sunday 12th June

  • Breakfast & Checkout by 12 noon

  • A further opportunity to make use of the facilities of the hotel or just relax in the beautiful grounds

 

  • An opportunity to visit some of the other unique venues in the Potteries e.g. The Wedgwood Visitor Centre near Barlaston, Trentham Gardens & Retail Village, The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery.

  • Visit the historic walled Chester City, Cheshire Candle Workshops, Cheshire dairy Ice Cream Farms, The Secret Bunker tour, visit the Peak District with its many attractions, or make a day of it at the World famous Alton Towers! The Biennial Event Team will be happy to help with directions, information and bookings.

  • Depart for a safe trip home!
